A Generalized Industrial Design is a series of behaviors in order to achieve a specific purpose, from conception to the establishment of a feasible implementation plan, and expressed in a definite way. It includes all design processes using modern means for production and service.

Narrow lndustrial Design refers to the product Design, which is the response to the needs of tools and equipment generated in the relationship between human and nature. Including the design of the material equipment such as tools, devices and products necessary for the maintenance and development of existence and life. The core of product design is that the product has good affinity and matching to the user's body and mind. The definition of narrow industrial design is consistent with that of traditional industrial design. Since the industrial design is always based on product design, product design is often referred to as industrial design.
